Sammy rocks, way better than Roth,  just saying in a Van Halen sense.  Love this album at the moment, kicks some A, and has Mikey from VH on bass.

Well, as DLR tells it, his Momma said "son, if you ever get in a contest, it don't matter whether you win or lose, it's how gooooood you look." Mind you, at the time he said it, it looked like he'd just hoovered up a bucket of coke.

I’m listening to the new EP by ‘As I Lay Dying’. Only 4 tracks but they’re all awesome

I'm listening to their new album "Shaped by Fire".

There is nothing like a little attempted murder to reinvigorate your sound.

I like both. I like the Frank Black & the Catholics stuff too.

I saw the Pixies at a festival once when Kim Deal was still with them. They were great live.

The backing vocals in that track sounded a lot like Kim Deal.

Gary Moore, Blues for Greeny. The whole album isn't linked together.

Gary, sometime Thin Lizzy guitarist, but found his calling with the blues. Outstanding blues player and singer IMO - Still got the blues is a must have LP for any blues fan. This is a tribute album  of early Fleetwood Mac songs for his mate, Peter Green, who started Mac, back in the day when they were a straight blues band. Peter sold his Les Paul '59 to Gary for 100 quid. Peter's LP had a great sound, and Gary made it growl and played it for 30 odd years.

Pirate metal of the nuttiest kind 🙂 Seen them twice and will again in November when they "come home" to Brissy.

Drinking songs set to Pirate Metal. What could go wrong in a hot climate Beer Garden??

Sure beats "Lily the Pink" by the Scaffolds if anyone reminders or cares!!

With Paul McCartney's yonger brother. Very British Music Hall but not a very good song.

Thank You Very Much was better but only because it reminds me of the Roses chocolate ads.

The good old days!!

Thankfully good music has prevailed.

Almost a trigger for a new thread "Songs that should have never left the recording studio"!!
