Red devil 44
Sammy rocks, way better than Roth, just saying in a Van Halen sense. Love this album at the moment, kicks some A, and has Mikey from VH on bass.
Hairy
Dave was a great showman but I always preferred Sammy too. He still goes alright for a guy in his 70s.

Well, as DLR tells it, his Momma said "son, if you ever get in a contest, it don't matter whether you win or lose, it's how gooooood you look." Mind you, at the time he said it, it looked like he'd just hoovered up a bucket of coke.
Red devil 44
Agreed Hairy, you nailed it. Wanted to go to his bar in Cabo but when over there in the US it was just insane for accomodation & entry.
Naughty Corner Brewing
Daughters got me on a plane to a Sydney a couple of weeks ago to see Parlaye Royale at the Crowbar. Freakin awesome show apart from the screwups with audio and the support band not showing up. https://youtu.be/nzM134EhSFQ

Only 4 tracks but they’re all awesome I'm listening to their new album "Shaped by Fire". There is nothing like a little attempted murder to reinvigorate your sound. I saw the Pixies at a festival once when Kim Deal was still with them. They were great live. The backing vocals in that track sounded a lot like Kim Deal.

YeastyBoy
Amyl & the Sniffers CD. Smashing it out since nothing else happening this arvo? Only this band can end their live set with GFY. Great Gig if you get an opportunity to watch live.
Lab Cat
Gary Moore, Blues for Greeny. The whole album isn't linked together. Gary, sometime Thin Lizzy guitarist, but found his calling with the blues. Outstanding blues player and singer IMO - Still got the blues is a must have LP for any blues fan. This is a tribute album of early Fleetwood Mac songs for his mate, Peter Green, who started Mac, back in the day when they were a straight blues band. Peter sold his Les Paul '59 to Gary for 100 quid. Peter's LP had a great sound, and Gary made it growl and played it for 30 odd years.

With Paul McCartney's yonger brother. Very British Music Hall but not a very good song. Thank You Very Much was better but only because it reminds me of the Roses chocolate ads.
