PME
I have a recipe for an 8 litre brew, and I already figured out the HME and LME substitutions, but I'm not sure about whether to double or triple the other ingredients. A little help? 1 Can Winter Dark Ale HME (which I substitute with 1 Can Coopers Dark Ale) 1 Packet Dry Brewing Yeast (under lid of HME) 1 BrewMax LME Softpack - Robust (substitue 1 can of Coopers Dark LME) 1 1/2 oz. Packet Tettnanger Hop Pellets 1 Muslin Hop Sack 1 Packet No-Rinse Cleanser YOU PROVIDE: 1 Tbsp. Mulling Spices 1/2 Tsp. Pure Almond Extract

PME
Are you sure this is an 8 litre brew? Yes sir, the original cans are of the Mr Beer variety (1.3Kg) http://www.mrbeer.com/product-exec/product_id/1133/nm/Spiced_Christmas_Ale
Hairy
I get it now. You are converting from 8 litres to 20 odd litres. Sorry I thought you were adding your ingredients to an 8 litre batch [biggrin] You just adjust the quantities in a linear way. So if you are brewing a 24 litre batch you would triple it.
