Chiro
Just bottled my 1st full nelson ale. When I got to the end of the fermenter I thought Gee maybe I should of strained the boil before I put it into the fermenter. So should I have strained it or just chucked it all in like I did? TIA

TIA Entirely up to you. Personally I strain it because I find I get bits of hops floating in my bottles otherwise. Tastewise there's not much difference either way. Hairy
I strain too. Its a simple process to avoid a heap of hop matter in your wort. If you give it time in the FV it will settle down to the bottom. And if some sneaks into your bottles then it too will settle in time. Some people on here report of the hop matter clogging up the bottler. But you've obviously bottled with no major issues, so no harm done.
Chiro
Ok thanks boys. I'll strain in the future. Putting down a Dr Smurto's golden ale tonight for the 1st time so I'll put this one through the strainer. Yep had no worries bottling the nelson ale.
