This sounds great.

What chilli do you use Allan?

Best chilli beer I've ever had was from the micro at Myponga, Harrys Hog it was called.

Tasted like beer then chilli not some half ass chilli, malt, hop flavoured mess.

Chilli is one of my favorite things, after beer and then the mrs[lol]

I just made a ginger beer this afternoon with a couple of chillis thrown. I just threw what I had on hand in.

1 COOPERS GB

1.7KG RAW SUGAR

FRESH GINGER ABOUT THE SIZE OF MY HAND

3 BIRD SHITE CHILLIS

12 CLOVES

1 CINNAMON STICK

A SPLASH OF HONEY (ABOUT THE SIZE OF MY HAND [biggrin] )

I FORGET WHAT ELSE [innocent]

MADE TO ABOUT 15L (I may add a bit more water if needed but I'm using a small FV)

I've given up on making a good ginger beer - they all taste different levels of ok no matter what I do - they all taste better with a splash of lemonade when serving.

steve i use long red chilli and i reckon muddy have big hands

[lol] hopefully Muddys hands are bigger than his chillis but kudos to the heat of those things [devil]

I grow some chillis and there will be some experimenting come harvest in Feburary.

Let us know how hot the long reds work out Allan.

Always good to here peoples triumphs! cheers Steve
