StefanR
I was thinking about making up a brew using 2 x Coopers APA tins and some citrussy flavour/aroma hops. Just wondered if any body has tried a Toucan APA?
PB2
It should come out nicely. We often suggest, to brewers who can't easily get hold of BE2 or Light Dry Malt, to use 2 x Australian Pale Ale beer kit cans to 25 litres.

StefanR
After finding a UK hop retailer that sells Galaxy hop flowers, I fancy using some in this brew. As they have a fairly high AA, can anyone suggest a hop schedule that would give a little bitterness, lots of flavours and aroma? Cheers Stefan
Hairy
For my next brew I am planning on using the following galaxy hop schedule with some extra light malt, dex and carapils. 10g @ 30 min 15g @ 10 min 10g @ 0 min (probably dry hop) It shouldn't be too bitter and also flavoursome with a nice aroma. My galaxy hops have an AA% of 13.4%. They are also pellets, not flowers. You will have to adjust accordingly.
Hairy
Sorry, I didn't read your post properly. If you are doing a toucan then it should be sufficiently bittered. So ignore the 30 minute addition.
TimD1525228520
The smiley face belies the reality...i stood in front of the shelves at Big W brooky yesty, shaking my head a much as i did this arvo watchin the 'ken wallabies.
