ANDREWB41
What FG should my ale reach before I bottle? It has been a bit cool at home and I don't want to bottle early. the FG has reached 1013 and has stayed there for 2 days.
TonyW
Hi Andrew and welcome to the forum I take it that uts the Lager kit? if so then 1.013 over a couple of days is fine but you dont say how low the temperature has been or how long the brew has been in the fermenter cheers Tony
Guest
We need more information on the sugars used to ascertain if 1013 is ready to bottle. What temps did you brew at and how long has it been in for now?
ANDREWB41
G'Day Guys, the brew has been on for 6 1/2 days the temp has been around the 21 - 24 degrees and it was a standard coopers starter kit so I used the brew enhancer #1. Guest
With the same readings over a couple of days you should be fine. However, it wouldn't hurt to leave it another few days if possible. Nevertheless, you're probably keen to bottle it so no worries [cool]
