RoyG
Hi all, I have 15g of Hallertau and saw a recipe for a lager, 500g of light dry malt and 24g of hallertau. Was wondering if 15g would be ok. This is my first time with hops so not really sure what to do. Do I drop them in with the hot water or put them in the fermenter? Any help would be great. LeonardC2
I used an ounce of Kent Golding in my boiling water in the brew kettle for 15mins. It is an aroma/flavor hop after all. So if you want a lil hop flavor & aroma, making a tea the way I did should be fine. 15g is half an ounce. Then,I pulled the hop bag out of the kettle, took it off the heat,& mixed up as usual.
