I was thinking of using the 2 dark ale kits, 500g ldme and 500g of dextrose. This will be my first experimental brew. Is there anything else I should consider using? PB2 Posted August 17, 2010 Share Posted August 17, 2010 i snuck a coopers dark ale kit home and now wondering what is best to do with it? normal dextrose or a be 1 or 2 and perhaps a malt extract? i was thinking of using the dark one? Did you make this first dark ale kit up? If you are yet to make and/or taste it, perhaps make a single can brew - a double can brew, to 23 litres, is very bitter.
