GregT5
I have booked to go on the Brewery Tour this coming Tuesday 11 Jan. Could someone who has been on the tour (or Paul) tell me if there is a Homebrew/DIY Beer component in the tour?
The Brew Master
Hi Greg, The tour is basically about the brewery & how they brew for the commercial market. It is well worth the money, especially when the tour is finished & you get to try a few samples. When Mrs Brew Master & I are back in Adelaide we will be doing another tour, it was awesome & Frank is a great tour guide. [happy] [happy] Cheers, Peter

Tricky
I will be in Adelaide next week, and am thinking of doing the tour on Wednesday or Thursday (4th or 5th May.) Are either of those days a good day to catch up with you PB2?

Tricky
Enjoy your time off. Vacancies were getting low, so I've made a booking for Mrs. B and myself for Wednesday May 4. See you then.

Tricky
Thanks Peter. I can't wait. [biggrin] P.S. I recently did a tour of the CUB Abbotsford Brewery. You can read about it here http://bit.ly/ifrHGs
GregT5
It's a good tour. I was amazed at the similarities with homebrewing (aside from the obvious quantity issue[cool] ) We were lucky to have Paul as our guide for the last part of the tour and the tasting
Swanstar
Hi All, Did the Brewery Tour yesterday, very impressed [happy] A very slick operation. Frank is knowledgeable and friendly, has some pretty funny antecdotes to share too. Really wished I'd had a better camera to take pics, but gives me a reason to go back. Would've loved to see the old place in Leabrook. Anyway, Thanks Frank, cya soon [biggrin]
Frank
Thanks Paul! It's always easy showing people around who are enthusiastic and love great beer as much as I do! Seeya next time. Cheers, Frank.
Matty A
I am thinking of taking some time to travel to Adelaide (one of the reasons was this tour). I think it will be interesting to see how my favourite beers are made. I look forward to it, it will probably be towards the end of the year but, something to look forward to.
