Remember those tins of Cornwell's malt?

If I recall correctly, I made my first brew in 1977.

 

It was a half grain/half malt extract recipe. I had read a lot of library books on the subject and bought the ingredients at a shop in the eastern end of Newcastle under the nurses' home.

 

I found a couple bottles of it a few years ago under the house at my Dad's place and decided to try it. Still drinkable, but just barely. Or should I say barley. [pinched]

 

Any way, fast track to 2013 and I have just bottled the Chubby Cherub. I reckon it could easily last until 2033 or even longer.
