William
Cooper's latest brew ( http://www.coopers.com.au/news-main.asp ) is the 3.5% Mild Ale, 'available from bottle shops after October 7'. Anyone tried this baby yet?
Kai
I tried it the other day.. got a big eh from me. It had a worty sweetness to it that I didn't really like, sort of similar to pale's flavour but less attractive somehow. I wasn't very successful in tracking down any hop flavour to it, either. But then, I'd had some stronger beers beforehand. I probably need to try it again.
Oliver
Had it on the weekend while visiting Adelaide. I found it all right, but nothing to write home about. Compared to Little Creatures brewery's mid-strength, Roger's Beer, it doesn't really rate.
Fruity
Well, I am a Regency Light drinker and generally find the Pale Ale taste too strong. As such, I really enjoyed the Mild Ale taste and buy it, when I can find it in Darwin, as a treat. Chris, Darwin
Wort
I think it's a good Mid beer, don't think it holds up to full strength but it's not a full strength. Good beer for the boat I have decided, does not seem to have as much sediment as other coopers fulls and I feel better about driving home after.
