LagerLover (formerly TimA6
Just took the first of the final SG readings tonight and took a sip of my Pale Ale with dry hopped with 30g of Cascade hops....WOW! Soooooo good with some real nice bitterness in there. I can't wait to drink this chilled. This is just the stock Cooper's Pale Ale tin with two 15g bags of cascade hops thrown in at the start. LOVE IT! [biggrin] I've got a little blog happening documenting my "travels" if anyone cares to take a looky - http://timstipple.tumblr.com/ cheers! Otto Von Blotto
Well if you're stoked with it after dry hopping with 30 milligrams, you should be over the moon when you try it with 30 grams. [lol]

Hey Tim That last pic is centrefold material [lol] I love it when they finally look done. I've got two at the moment at 2.5 weeks and both are hanging on to the remnants of the Krausen for way too long.

PhilboBaggins
Hell yeah on swapping malt for BEs. If you're lucky enough to live near a good LHBS, you can usually pick up a KG of DME for only a coupla bux more. I get mine for aboot $8 but have heard of people getting it cheaper. [cool]

Otto Von Blotto
My LHBS sells it for $9, but last time I went up there and grabbed a couple of kilo bags and he gave them to me for $16. They should last a fair while though as I only use DME for yeast starters these days.
