Adam
:D Gday fellow members. I havnt posted on the forum for a long time and reckon the new board is great. Ive brewed my own ( using mainly Coopers ) for a long time. Ive come across a problem using Pilsner that i havnt had before. Its fermented out nicely for about 12 days now at around 16 - 18 degrees, and FG is about 1010. Problem is im still getting action through the airlock, about one BLOOMP  every 4 - 5 minutes. What is this. Is another gas present in my brew. Recipe is as follows - Coopers Pilsner, 750 gms of Dextrose, 250 gms of Light Malt, 250 gms of Maltodextrin ( Corn Syrup ) 1 teaspoon of Halleratue Hop Pellets ( Boiled with adjuncts for 10 mins ) Finished with Teaspoon of Golden Cluster Hop Pellets. Added to adjuncts when taken off the boil for 5 mins. Then strained into my fermenter. Adding Pilsner Can. Anyway ive taken two FG readings over three days, both are the same. Why still the action through the airlock :?:
