tonyw9
Hey Guys, Just wondering if you think this will work.... I'm after a creamy head w nice aromas... 1 can Aust Pale Ale 1 kg BE2 500g LDM 2 x 12g teabags Cascade (1 dry hopped) 1 x 12 g bag Nelson Sauvin... Kit Yeast Kinda Fat Yakish, but wanting it to be a bit less in ya face... Will the extra LDM hurt or help you think? Thanks :)
Muddy Waters
Hey Tony - Sounds ok but I'm not really a brew enhancer fan so I'd tend to use 1kg of LDM and 250g of dextrose. I'm also not really a fan of hop teabags as you can't be sure what kind of condition they are in. You say you plan on dry hopping one bag but when do you plan to make your other hops additions? Side note - I wouldn't consider fat yak to be in your face at all.
tonyw9
Hey Muddy, Teabags from my LBHS were made fresh for me... Heaps cheaper than the pre packaged stuff too...:) I did a 10 min boil w the NS and 1 cascade in about 2 ltrs water which i then used to disolve the sugars and can etc.... just gonna throw the second cascade bag in after a few days of fermenting..... Smells great, but just hoping the extra LDM wont make it too heavy?? I've no idea if I'm barking up the wrong tree here but Fingers crossed it turns out... Cheers Tony
