Aussiekraut
Got myself a pack of these bad boys for tonight. Grim RIPA, a Black Rye IPA from Noisy Minor Brewing.
ben 10
Stunning, perfect blood orange flavour. I hope Asahi treat Green Beacon well. Lovely Red IPA. Like an imperial amber... good malty back bone. Yummy smoked pork crackling too.
Otto Von Blotto
Arc valley lager for me, don't feel like spending a crap load on beer this week and at $33 a carton it's not too bad for its price, better than local megaswill. Right up @The Captain!!'s alley I reckon. 1

Norris!
I am having/had a Kaiju Krush and Balter XPA. Love the hops coming from the Krush so far, but I have made comparable, in my not so humble opinion. Always like the XPA and will top it off with the Munich lme ale I have. In between a chorizo and pepperoni pizza. I think it belongs to my wife but I am eating it. It could be the calm before the storm, fellas. 2 pieces left . Cheers Norris P.S I did use a glass, I didn't just chug it from the can...Or did I? 5
Beerlust
As a guy directly involved in the industry, I just don't get the whole appeal of Great Northern & Iron Jack. It is purely marketing because the beers themselves are still crap. The two big boy breweries that produce these beers really need to have a good hard look at themselves & what they are about. These two beers just replace the same crap at the same level as their predecessors with just minute alterations in the bottle, colour, taste & sales pitch. One thing I would like to know is when did QLD orientated beer become the fit model for the whole of Australian mass produced beer? Cheers, Lusty.

Otto Von Blotto
More like a Tuesday night one pack session for me, I got a six pack of the Coopers XPA to see what it's like, got a couple chilling in the kegerator ATM. The other 5 cans will see me through to Friday night when I expect the pale ale keg will be carbonated enough to enjoy a few glasses.

Smoked Porter lovely, same as most Red IPA 6.5 % well balanced Cascadian Dark Ale 8% (SUPERB!!!) Tropical Pale 4.5% great example of pacific type ale Ned's Red , nitro, nice taste, not a fan of nitro Legends Lager, beats Great Norther (or black fish as they call it here) any day Townsville Bitter, fabulous in the style of XXXX with flavour.... Heart attack on a platter.... SO GOOD!!!!
Naughty Corner Brewing
Grabbed a mixed 6 pack from Dan’s on the way home last night. Only ended up having a couple. One was the Red Trolley Ale for Karl Strauss. Fantastic beer. Malty but not sweet. The other was Old Peculier which I really enjoyed as well. Nice dark malt with a good measurement of bitterness. The roasted malt is there but in nowhere near the volumes of a porter and very in the style of an English brown, in my opinion anyway. Another enjoyable beer. Thursday night was a good one too after work. Went for a few and tried the new limited release IIPA from Balter Brewing. An exceptional beer and not at all what I expected. Good bitterness but really well balanced in a big beer. I kind of expected it to be over the top bitter but was really surprised that it didn’t taste it. If all IPAs were like that I’d definitely drink more of them. So now on the lookout for a partial mash recipe for the Red Trolley, so if you have one... Hairy
Yeah, it’s a really nice beer. It’s been a few years since I have had it but I see it in Dan’s all the time so I may grab it next time.
