Otto Von Blotto
Picked up a 6 pack of Newstead Two to the Valley IPA last weekend to get through the week before the next two kegs end up on tap. Cloudy but very nice beer. Fruity as hell. Gonna have to go check out their new Milton brewpub thingy, which is only just down the road from Castlemaine Perkins at the other end of the same street
Koo wee brew
https://www.anchorbrewing.com/beer/liberty_ale Had a few Liberty Ales tonight. This is awesome. Pale Ale malt and Cascade SMASH. The aroma on this took me back to the first time I fell in love with beer. Very reminiscent of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Cascade is a very underrated Hop in today's age IMHO. Cheers, Dave

Maybe some tips on how to not over carbonate it would be better . Bloody would pour a glass and ensure there was hardly any foaming, let it sit a couple of minutes and the head grew quite substantially. It wasn't all bad though, by the time the head settled it had warmed slightly and lost a bit of that carbonation so it ended up being real nice. I suspect the clarity is largely due to the hopping, even I can't clear my really hoppy ales completely
The Captain!!
Come on Ladies and Gentlemen, I can’t have a beer for another week or so, so I want to drool over the plethora of beers that the rest of you are having on a Friday night. Captain

They are really hitting the spot. I appreciate the traditional pils, but these are ace! Tonight I've had; http://www.hopnation.com.au/pilsner/ The Damned- One of my favourites (Aus) of this style. https://untappd.com/b/mr-banks-brewing-co-venice-pils/2643570 Cheers, Dave
Rowbrew
Thanks Dave. I hope you enjoy your hopped up pilsners. I am yet to try this style. Not really a fan of pilsners to be honest, but these might be up my alley

The Captain!!
Lemon myrtle is a strange beast. It can be amazing one minute and just a touch more turn on the dial and be the worst thing you’ve tasted since ya mate shoved his 3 year old thongs in ya mouth. We had a few at Newstead before heading over the road for a game both Friday and Saturday nights. Was a bloody good spot and the beers were on point. They had an oatmeal session beer which was really crisp and fruity and went down really well. That IPA u just bought was on tap there as well, good drop. Get down there the place was pumping. Pizzas everywhere too
