Ocean's of Ale-
How many (11 gram) packs of dry yeast is best when making a 23 litre batch of lager? Is there much difference in using say 2 over 1 packs? Aside from the financial prospectives, does this alter the taste much? Or is it just a faster fermentation? My batches can vary from 3.5% to 5.5% abv depending on my intent & purpose.

Assuming 12 - 14°C: 3.5% - One packet would be fine 5.5% - Two packets would be fine
Ocean's of Ale-
Yeah mate i'd brew a lager at 10-14°C. So 11grams of dryed lager yeast for a mid strenght & 22 grams for full-strength, Cool! Thanks mate.
