stquinto
Seem to have a problem with the numbers here. I followed the recipe but ended up with an OG of over 1.060. I had to add 4 litres of water to bring it down to 1.050. Meant to be Guinness, not Imperial Stout 2

When I am aiming for a specific ABV, that is what I want. Luckily you had spare headspace in your fermenter to add some water. 3
Classic Brewing Co
I am thinking of getting one of these, just to up my game, I have only got 1 fermenting fridge ATM so it could fit in nicely to my brewery, obviously it is used for ambient brewing, but I was wondering if there would be issues with maintaining 18-20c for Ales etc. I understand it would be a bonus in colder months due to the inbuilt heating. Has anyone tried these or have any thoughts. https://www.kegland.com.au/35l-ss-bucket-buddy-fermenter-with-heating.html Edited January 2, 2023 by Classic Brewing Co
