Yep, great value with free shipping. Think I paid close to that for my non wifi version.

Do ya reckon wifi is much better?

Wi fi is much better   , as it allows you to change the settings where ever you are

eg. you made a brew  the day before you was to leave on 10 day   to wherever

and you need to cold crash at day 7   you can get on your smart phone  and select the app
and change the temp setting to 2degrees celcius  and have it cold crashing and ready to bottle or keg when you get back from your holiday

specially if your using a tilt or similar hydrometer   with the temp controller  as you  will notice when fermentation has finished
and its just a matter of changing the temp through the phone app

cheers

Makes sense. Seems a lot of electronic devices are now wifi enabled - even my LG fridge is, which I feel is a bit of a wank to be honest. UNLESS it can be remotely ordered to pour me a beer as I put the car away in the garage!

Oh yeah! For people like me it's an absolute must.  The app on the phone is much easier to use for a tech illiterate like me. And as Ozzie has said you can adjust your controller from anywhere. Perfect.

@Spursman, I even often stand right beside the wi-fi temperature controller but adjust the temperature on my phone.  Just lazy I guess.  But it is that much easier to change it on the phone.

Wi-fi is not so great that I have ditched the other two non-wi-fi controllers.  But if they ever die, they will be replaced with the wi-fi version.  If you plan to buy a temperature controller anyway, the extra $10-$20 is worth it in my mind.
