Spursman
By accident I had one bottle of this stored for about 8 weeks (usually drink after 4). Wow! What a difference. The flavour profile was totally different. Really smooth almost caramel notes with a slightly sweet finish. Surprisingly different and unexpected. That is generally the case, I recently discovered a couple of boxes of brews that I had put behind the Bar Fridge. While I was moving things around I discovered 12 x Longnecks of Stout & 12 x Grolsch bottles of Draught, they were both about 10 weeks old but the Stout in particular was magnificent. Sadly only a few bottles of each left.
Graculus
I've got some stout in a plastic box at the back of the garage. Brewed 29th August 2016. The problem is, it's right at the back of the garage. Bottom shelf. Surrounded by other stuff. I've also found a couple of other bottles from that era lately, while cleaning out the brew cupboard. Also a few bottles of Russian Imperial Stout hanging around. Brewed October 2018. I don't really like it that much.
