While I wouldn't be happy about no alcohol but I can see a lot of common sense in placing restrictions on it. Less drunk people presenting to hospitals obviously puts less pressure on the health system. Meanwhile here in Australia when we were locked down, virtually all businesses were shut. Only "essential" businesses remained opened. These included bottle shops. Very interesting indeed Muzzy. Amd I agree with your point on the health care system. I think we do all need beer in these times though!

He has been at my bar watching me pour nice heady beers but won't even try them. All the more for me. On 6/27/2021 at 1:55 PM, Shamus O'Sean said: You can only lead a horse to water. I am with the horse. Don't be pouring those nice heady beers in front of me and then lead me to the water trough! Poor horse wants a brew!
Cult Of One
Last month I went to a blinder in Fresno called Mad Duck https://www.madduckcraft.com/our-craft-brews. Very solid beers. Also a great craft store in Southern Seattle called Cosmic Bottles https://www.cosmicbottles.com/. The USA have so many good craft brews on the go at the moment.

Cult Of One
@JoeB7 The food was very good and they made a cocktail for Mrs Cult Of One called a Versace Hang glider that was very good. I have learned how to make them myself since returning earlier this month. My lime and lemon trees are going to very good use. Normally on holiday I never go to the same place more than once but Mad Duck got visited 2 nights in a row by us.

Yeah, I checked out the websites, they do make some interesting beers. Sierra Nevada is one of my favourites.
