Sydney tapwater Yay or Nay?

Anyone have any experience using Sydney tap water (south east suburbs)?

Sydney tap water is great for brewing. I have never had a problem with it.

Do you treat with campden tablets HAIRY?

Ascorbic acid works well too, if only chlorine it evaporates overnight.

No. 

I have a filter in the kitchen now so my beers are made up of partly plain tap water and filtered water. I just run both taps into the jug to speed up the process.

I have made beer with all tap water and all filtered water and couldn’t tell the difference. My tap water doesn’t have a noticeable chlorine taste so I guess it depends on your own water.
