Been pickling a few fruit and vege lately, love it. The baby cucumbers go alright.

Mickey try carrot too. I have pickled carrot stalks and they aren't bad.

I had a go at pickling the other night unfortunately it was me that got pickled thanks to my 8% Coffee Stout Looks good though another rabbit hole I guess might have to give it a try, good old you tube will give me pointers

I have picked some veg over the years especially baby cucumbers/gherkins/carrots/olives etc but don't have the space now to grow them other than herbs.

I do have a hydrator & apart from Beef Jerky , I quite often dry tomatoes & chillis. When available Nectarines/Peaches etc are great too.

It all ties in with homemade bread & of course Charcuterie which is favoured by some of our well known forum members.

Not forgetting what we are all about BEER.
