Classic Brewing Co
I haven't looked but I imagine they are a lot more expensive. It gets that way with all of the devices/apps/buttons/Netflix/Youtube etc ... but I still like technology.

Great fishing though a bit of local knowledge goes a long way, all the usual estuary species of fish with the odd mud crab thrown in. Looks damn fine to me. If you can get one of these they're quite handy if you go for a dip (crocs permitting...)

I'm a bit of a George Thorogood, I drink alone in there. I use the living areas of the house when socialising. One of my mates calls it, "Muzzy's Secret W*nking Room" but I told him, "Don't be ridiculous! It's not secret." Nice looking place for a few swift ones, bit healthier than being underground I reckon

I moved last March into a smaller place, I used to have heaps of Bar space, now I have them spread out in different rooms, a smallish bar in the lounge - main entrance, my office which doubles as a brew room, somewhere else to drink sort of room & the outside area which is not quite finished. Cheers Phil You got yourself a choice of venues too, looks great

Classic Brewing Co
@MUZZY Anywhere a bloke can go for solitude is always great, I am unaware of everyone's marital status, but I am assuming we have members with * Her Indoors * She that must be obeyed * Director of Finance & Recreation & so on ... I am single which I relish in, however I am not saying anything other than it's good to have me-time, single, married or what. I have a mate who is a Captain Pilot with Qantas & we get a catch up for drinks, lunch etc when he can, but he envies my freedom sometimes.

I'm happily married but my wife's tastes and mine are galaxies apart on some things. I can't stand modern TV shows eg. Married At First Sight, Bachelor, Survivor etc. She will happily watch them for hours. Having my own space is vital to my sanity. We have a great partnership though. I earn the money, she spends it. I make the mess, she cleans it. We're a team. 1
Classic Brewing Co
Muzzy I am sure there many others happily married & I know what you mean, I can't stand any of that stuff myself. I do enjoy Rick Stein & a few other Chefs that have their own shows, they are not really cooking shows as they get labelled, more of an adventure, documentary. I was a cook so do have a soft spot for the better ones. Master Chef, My Kitchen Rules are just as bad as the Home Reno/Dating/Singing blah... blah ... As long as we are healthy & able to enjoy life in this great country we are OK.
Malter White
@CLASSIC I can just picture you cooking in your army days and having a Masterchef contestant cry because you ordered Kennebec potatoes and they supplied Sebago. LOL
Classic Brewing Co
I was left in charge to organise a meal for 500 in the Officer's Mess & had 3 diggers in Prep, 4-5 assisting in mains & 3 for clean-up. There were sacks of Potatoes, Bags of Carrots & other veg & they were all sorted on the benches & I told the prep team to dice all of the vegetables. I was lucky I went outside & noticed these di..... I mean diggers placing them in the bin. They were lucky I wasn't armed at the time. Even some of the younger ones at the Supermarket checkouts don't know the difference between a zucchini or a watermelon.
