King Ruddager
I just made beer scones. It’s like those lemonade scones, but with beer. They are the BEST SHIT EVER!! Would go great with plum jam if I had any. 6 1
Naughty Corner Brewing
My mother in law often puts beer in her damper and it’s basically the same recipe so it should be awesome. Really never thought of beer in scones, but it’s going to happen soon now! Cooking channel next KR?
Bribie G
CWA lemonade scones have been a classic forever. Time to switch to beer! Other forums have brew food topics. My favourite use of grog in cooking is Boef Bourguignon - half a bottle of cleanskin red into the stew, drink other half while cooking.
Greenyinthewestofsydney
Misses has done 4 or so batches. Id stick with a light lager for the ingredient. She did one with a pale ale and the hop taste didn't suit it. At least to my tastes anyway.

I worked on a show called Mercurio's Menu about a decade ago. He is an absolute beer nut and foodie. Loves his Coopers Pale - Rolled.

He used to home brew back in the day, and loves his micro brewery's. He's an obsessed foodie and beer nut, probably like most everyone here.
