King Ruddager
All this and a big bag of Amarillo! Maybe I should weight it up, figure out the average AA%, mix it all together and use it accordingly? 3
Norris!
Yes. I would be more specific with my ratios hoping to tease more things out, but that is just me

Hairy
Do it! Weighted average. Make your own proprietary blend. 1 1

Actually, my biggest issue would be getting something on one of the pellets that would be later used for dry hopping. Is there a way to avoid this? Norris!
15 minutes ago, King Ruddager said: Explain how. What things? Instead of just dumping all of them together and doing a ratio of the AA take specific hops and blend for citrusy, tropical and/or dankness, like Hairy said make your own blend to get the flavours and aromas you really want versus what might come up. So something like 60% citrusy/tropical fruit hops, 20% dank hops and 20% floral hops or something like that for a hazy ipa. Or adjust the ratios for 60% dank, 20% fruity and 20% floral for a west coast ipa. You would still work out the AA for bittering and stuff but focus on teasing the flavours and aromas you want to stand out. Think falconers flight versus Trident hop blend, FF seems more dank with some tropical notes while Trident seems very tropical and fruity.
King Ruddager
I probably don't have enough of anything to achieve that in an IPA unfortunately. Ooh I know! I could do an alphabetical-order IPA!! Is Azacca suitable for bittering? Edited September 28, 2020 by King Ruddager
Norris!
I think it has a high cohumulene level which makes it sharp, like galaxy, I only use it late.

What I use is Raw Wheat to provide body. up to 4% for Pales or IPA's. Try something simple like 50% pale, 44% Pils and 4% Raw Wheat and if you need acid, 2%, if not, add this to the Pils. Be a fruity XPA Either way. Interested to see this how go on the Fast Homebrew Channel.

BackyardBrewer
Simcoe and Nelson are the wrong way around, sorry you said it alphabetical and that list is triggering OCD! The Simcoe has to go in last ok!
King Ruddager
You're right @BackyardBrewer, but that's just due to what I had entered into the spreadsheet. Those guys are all going in dry anyway, so will essentially be added at the same time.
