Hey Guys. I start  brewing the  lager from the home brew kit. The temperature started at 20 but slowing dropped down to 16 and it's been like that  past 2days, is that okay?.

Or should I keep it few days more to get the temperature Up to 20'  +

The yeast provided with the Coopers Lager tin is actually an ale yeast. It would probably work better in the 18-22C range. At 16 it will most likely still ferment but it could take a bit longer to do so.

@Richmondrod What MUZZY said.  Welcome to the forum.

Attached it a graphic of my lager brew back in January.  It consisted of the Lager kit, 1 Kg BE1 plus 500 gm DME.  The Coopers kit tin 7 g of yeast was used.  It will give you an idea of temperature profile and times to aim for.  Good luck with your brewing.

Go Tigers!

Cheers - AL
