stquinto
@Hoppy81 @Graubart @iBooz2 I’ll give it a bash and let you know fellas. This is a brew I would bottle in 500ml bottles and leave it a while. Probably stick to the book (extract) version but am keen to give BIAB a try, just not sure how the get the bag out to drain without a pulley as I do my boils in the kitchen on the stove. I think I’ll save the dark candi for another brew. Apart from improvising hops because I can’t get all of them (like Oz ones) I wouldn’t want to change the structure of the recipe. Cheers for your thoughts
Hoppy81
Finally got around to brewing a version of this last week. There will definitely be another version as the colour is completely off, needs more of a red hue and i didn't get the volume i was aiming for, i was chasing 27L but got 23L which is probably why the OG was 1.071 instead of 1.058 3
stquinto
@Hoppy81 mate, looks promising. It is quite dark is the Old Perc. 1.071 is quite a blinder though...

Yeah i'm sure it will be tasty and only need a couple to get you going haha, next version i might chuck some Gladfield Redback in it to get that redish hue. Cheers
