LeeD2
I'm thinking of using some oak wood chipping, but the question is do I bag them or let them loose. Any advice would be appreciated

Beerlust
I'd bag 'em with plenty of room to move. I did an oak chip brew quite a few years back & threw the oak chips in loose. I was bottling & one of the oak chips lodged in the tap housing & I could not shut the tap off! It poured about a litre or so of beer all over me & the floor before I came to my senses & tilted the FV way back to stop the flow. I was then able to dislodge the oak chip & finish bottling. Definitely something to be mindful of if you do decide to throw them in loose. Cheers & good luck with the brew. Lusty. 1
