NickCooper
I am doing a Pilsner homebrew and it's day 3 of fermentation with no Krausen Foam and minimal bubbling. I only put in 500g of LDM instead of 1kg (mistake). OG was 1.030 and current SG is 1.010. Should I be concerned that the brew is not fermenting? or are things just a bit slow? Should/can I add more sugar? (I have some brew enhancer 1 spare). Edited April 23, 2020 by NickCooper
MitchBastard
Hey mate, if she’s down to 1.010 it’s probably done, however, in three days? Don’t know if it would drop that Quick if you’ve used lager yeast? Lager yeast is a bit sluggish compared to ale yeast given the lower ferment temps.... What temps It fermenting at? Marty_G
Mate it is nearly over... that is why it is slow knocked over 20 points in 3 days. That is normal.
Otto Von Blotto
Where were you expecting it to drop to and in how long? What's occurred sounds completely normal to me and if it's not finished it's pretty close to it.
