martycon Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 I brew with Coopers Pale ale and 500g of Coopers light dry malt. I reckon alc vol to be about 3.5%, but whatever it is suits me. I would like something even more malty, but similar strength, still based on a singlr can of Coopers DIY Any sugestions? Cheers marty
Hairy Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 You already have an all malt beer so it is difficult to make it maltier. The only way would be to look at some grains. Try playing around with some crystal malts, biscuit malts etc. Another option is to replace some of the dry malt with a mini mash of Munich or Vienna.
martycon Posted April 23, 2020 Author Posted April 23, 2020 "You already have an all malt beer so it is difficult to make it maltier" Crystal malt sounds interesting, is there a way to include it, such as a concentrate, without needing to mash it? I was wondering if some of Coopers other styles might be more malty to start with, thanks for your help, regards marty
