I have a West End theme going on as I won a West End Fridge a while back & have collected a lot of promo gear, I do drink other brands. No wine clubs or browsing at Dan's all purpose bought. Every year we go on wine buying trips. Last year it was Tasmania and this year it is planned to do the Barossa in August. We look for smaller vineyards that are a bit off the beaten track where the winemaker is the owner and is also in the front man at the cellar door. We only buy varietals never blends. If we like them we will usually sign up to their wine club so we can get a discount and have them send a box the following year them we cancel. However, we do have a couple of vineyards here on the Qld granite belt that we visit regularly and have them send us wine to keep us topped up.
