WCM
I'm a beginner in brewing beers. I saw in the recipe's that there are some brews that needs to be a "commercial yeast culture". What if I use the included "Dry Yeast"? would there be any effect? is it safe to use or to drink after? Thank You
Hairy
The commercial yeast is just a recommendation because of flavour it imparts. You can sub it for dry yeast, like the kit yeast or other ale yeast, and make fine beer.

Beerlust
+1 to what has already been said. All I would add is that if you deviate from the recommended commercial yeast strain, it will most often alter the final flavour outcome of your eventual beer from what has been described in the recipe outline. By how far, & how much really comes down to how different the kit yeast is from the commercial strain being recommended in the recipe. Cheers & good brewing, Lusty.
