Beerlust
Lately I've actually wondered about swallowing a portion of dry enzyme. The premise of dry enzyme is to break down previously unfermentable starches/glutens into fermentable sugars. Our body basically uses sugars for energy. I admit I don't fully understand how the body copes with starches/gluten, but I'm led to believe they can be the source of added weight if certain "lazier" (for a better word) lifestyles/choices are followed. A crazy theory, but wouldn't it be wonderful if you could eat & drink certain starch/gluten levels, & then before bedtime take a glass of water & dry enzyme (or equivalent) & help your body break down the fat causing starches into sugars you body could then use for energy. Just a thought, Lusty.

It might be quite handy but then I realised it would take the brewing away. It's cheap to get drunk though
Otto Von Blotto
Gluten is a protein. Good luck breaking that down into fermentable sugar
