PaddyBrew2
How long would it be ok to be kept in the sealed bags before brewday. I work from home and the missus uses the one car we have for work in the city. The LHBS is a 30 minute drive from me. Some days we both work from home so I could place my grain order and collect that day but I might not be able to brew until the weekend. Any issues with keeping Milled grain in a sealed bag for a few days ?
Beerlust
Nope. I've used milled grains many months after they were bagged with no problems whatsoever. Just keep them in a dry place away from any moisture. Cheers, Lusty. Edited July 11, 2019 by Beerlust 1
The Captain!!
Yep no issue at all. Like lusty says, months even is fine. A few days isn't going to matter at all. If it was going to be over a few months, id probably want to cryovac it, but realistically, even that is going too far.
