karlos_1984
I'm looking to start experimenting with some small batches of biab. I've got an old 15 ltr cube which I've used for years taking water camping etc. Was wanting to use this for no chill post boil. There's a slight build up of dirt/crud from the water that's been in it over the years. Will a bit of napisan do the job or would bleach be a better option to clean this thing out properly? Or am I wasting time, and should I just shell out a few Bux for a brand spanker?
Otto Von Blotto
Maybe use both. Napisan or whatever first then give it a bleach soak and thorough rinse and dry. Should be fine if the buildup isn't too bad. It's probably just mineral deposits mainly.
