dan e1525229393
Hi just wondering if anyone could help me make 2 pilsner recipes from kits. 1 mid and the other a light that still taste good and hopefully not to watery. Would grains help in a pilsner? Cheers
Lab Cat
Coopers or Black Rock both have Pils kits. However, they both come with ale yeasts and instructions for brewing with those. I tried Coopers and got a bland, malty lager. To brew a pils, you'll need temp control and a lager yeast which brews at 10-15C, and lots of time to brew and store it. Hairy
Yep, it’s a Lager yeast. Perhaps use the 86 Days Pilsner kit with 500g DME.
