First IPA Attempt

I would definitely go with the dextrose over maltodextrin in this beer. I also don't think 500g dextrose is too much.

An all extract beer (especially a big one) will finish too high for me so I would go with the dextrose to boost OG without increasing the FG. That beer will handle 500g of dextrose easily without producing a thin, cidery beer.

Hopefully last Revised Recipe, based on a beer I tasted over the weekend with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. Swapping out the Galaxy for Mosaic and Simcoe. Dropped teh LDME to 1KG, bumped the Dextrose and added the Malto in

Coopers IPA kit
Light Crystal 300g steeped for 30 minutes
Citra 5g @ at flameout

Citra 20g @ DRY HOP

Mosaic 20g @ DRY HOP

Simcoe 20g @ DRY HOP

LDME 1 KG
Dextrose 550g

Maltodextrin 100g
US05

Predicted OG 1.056   IBU 42.2
  FG 1.013   EBC 18.7
%alc   Keg 5.7   Bottle 6.1

Question, would it hurt in throwing the US05 and the Tin yeast in together? I was planning on using US05 either way, but not sure if I'd get any funky flavours using both, or should I use 2 x US05?
