A simple marinade inspired by my daughter who happened to be eating a slice of toast with Vegemite. The marinate tasted very strong but it didn't seem to transfer to the beef. Luckily the dehydrator only fit half the beef in, so I've added some salt to the second half and will dry again tonight. I just remembered something. The last couple of times I made jerky I used corned beef and didn't need to add salt. Maybe that's part of the reason I didn't add it this time....oldtimers disease.
