Hi all

I had a search and wasn't able to really see what i could find given my ingredient list. I am looking to use up some ingredients to make an alternative draught or maybe just a draught with a twist, or something i haven't thought of. I need to use up some of these ingredients up before i restock.

I am looking to hear your thoughts on a suitable recipe to use up some of these ingredients.

OS draught

500g Dextrose

300g midnight malt grain

200g crystal malt grain

50g EKG hope

25g Northern brewer hops

50g Nelson Sav hops

50g Galaxy hops

Nottingham ale yeast

Bavarian wheat yeast

OS series tin yeast

thanks in advance 🙂

200g crystal malt grain (hot steep)

25g Nelson Sav hops - Hot steep

25g Galaxy hops - Hot steep

Nottingham ale yeast

25g Nelson Sav hops - Dry hop

25g Galaxy hops - Dry hop

25g Northern brewer hops - Dry hop

Cheers Shamus

Hi TB

I just do it all at once at the moment.  I am currently doing a lighter lager yeast based recipe and dry hopped 25g of Topaz and 25g Vic Secret on the 6th day.

Like you I have read about doing it at different times for slightly different effects.  I am still keeping my brews simple.  Others might comment about the benefits of separating the dry hops and what differences it makes.

I think that the Nelson, Galaxy, Northern Brewer is a good combo.
