Bribie G Posted October 2, 2020 Share Posted October 2, 2020 (edited) Maltose rice syrup - various brands - is sold in larger Chinese groceries as it is a prime ingredient for Peking duck, BBQ pork and other favourites. It's sold in tubs of around a half kilo and is sometimes as cheap as $3. Needs some sussing out but if you live in a capital city you should find it easily.
