worry wort
what would the outcome be if I were to dry hop 25g of golding with a coopers draught? not really asking for a friend...…. WW
The Captain!!
Can’t hurt. I personally dry hop a lot more than that, but for the style I think you’ll be happy with the outcome.

porschemad911
I dry hopped my English IPA with 75g EKG in 11l fermenter volume. Very nice, but it is also good at lower rates. Cheers, John
Hairy
I love EKG. Go for it.
Beerlust
Better used as a late boil addition/flameout addition than dry hopped IMHO. Just my 2 cents. Lusty.

Lusty. how long would I boil them for? and what is a flameout? willing to try all things to see what works for me but the terminology buggers me
Otto Von Blotto
5 or 10 min boil would be enough, maybe 15. Flameout just means the hops are added when the boil finishes, so you boil the wort for say 10 minutes, then throw in the hops when you turn the stove off and let them steep in the wort for 20 minutes or so. Strain them out when adding this wort to the fermenter.
worry wort
sorry, one more stupid q, how much water would I need for the boil, 1, 2 ltr?
Otto Von Blotto
I'd go 2 litres, throw in 200g dry malt as well. They're better boiled in wort than plain water.
Beerlust
Hi Worry Wort. Just in case you were wondering, I wasn't ignoring the question you posed. Otto man answered it pretty quickly after you asked, & much as I would have, so I've left you in his capable hands. ...and he loves posting. Thanks Kelsey. Lusty. It's OK mate, I only managed two brews between late November & now as well. We'll let each other off this time I reckon. Cheers & good brewing, Lusty.
