fearnobeer Posted January 7, 2019 Share Posted January 7, 2019 Gday all,i want to solve my fermentation temperature issues by installing one of those temp controller things.i have a 10 year old LG fridge/freezer in the laundry that is still working fine.i want to put a temp controller on it,however i still want to use the freezer as a freezer and fridge as a fridge. not sure if this is possible because the freezer makes the cold air for the fridge also.i dont know much about appliances and the missus doesn't want to lose the use of the freezer.any thoughts out there ,not quite sure what to do yet..Cheers. The controller doesn't mess with the internal circuitry or anything, it simply cuts the power in and out to maintain temp so it will turn off the whole thing, not just the fridge part.
