I had one of my Doppelbock later and the intense malt with a bit of warming alcohol was a massive contrast. Cheers, John

Shamus O'Sean
I am a cheapskate. I got the Aldi one. Did not look up what was in it. You get what you pay for. Opening each day. Virtually: Ooo look, another lager.

Hairy
Day 9 for me was a Capital Brewing Coastal Ale. I think it is a California Common style and was OK. It went down OK but wasn't really memorable. I struggle to recall the taste of it now.
King Ruddager
Bit late to the party, but I've got a Boozebud calendar too and it's been fun comparing with friends. The Bent Spoke IPA is probably my favourite so far, but that XPA was really, really nice as well. A friend actually got that one on day 2 for some reason so he ended up with two of that one ... go figure

Enjoyed the Coopers Pale I had afterwards a decent amount more. Still, lots of fun this trying heaps of new beers for not too much cash thing! Visited their taproom and tried everything earlier this year, but not in a rush to go back. Just enjoyed the beer I had at home more. Although I had brewed up a storm for my brother-in-law's visit so I did have a lot of nice beer at home at the time.

I couldn't work out whether it was meant to be hazy or not though. I guess not since the can says it's filtered!
joolbag
I bought the Beer Cartel calendar and couldn't resist the boozebud one at 30% off so have that too! I drank the PL unfazed by the haze and I really e joyed the mouthfeel and juiciness. Possibly from the oats but likely to equally be the yeast. I am going to brew a NEIPA at one stage and will definitely track down the right yeast and not just throw US-05 at it. It is supposed to be clear according to the media release but it looked as hazy as any other NEIPA I've had. Well not like breakfast juice but certainly hazy! Enjoyable beer and I get to pick my way through the other 10 days of the boozebud calendar. What a time to be alive!
Otto Von Blotto
That's a confusing beer. Its name suggests it's meant to be cloudy/hazy, but then you say the media release says it's meant to be clear. Does anybody know?
Hairy
It doesn't specifically say it is hazy, just that it is unfazed by the haze. Perhaps it is meant for the Beijing market where people are unfazed by the haze.
Hairy
The last two nights in the Beer Cartel calendar were: Big Shed Brewing - Astra XPA (using Astra hops) Stone & Wood - Cloud Catcher (Australian Pale Ale) Both easy drinking and pleasant beers. Nice for summer.
