You have been in this game and brewing sour beers much longer than I have. Yet I noticed that the Bentspoke Flanders Red Ale kept its head reasonably well. It was not as sour though. Thoughts? Shamus O'Sean
Hawkers Beer - Red Shift - India Red Ale Caramel, floral and malty aroma Strong bitterness. Bold maly flavours. This is a sipping beer. Although I like my Modus Operandi Former Tenant clone, when tasting the above beer, I can see where I went wrong: Not enough bitterness in my Former Tenant. 3

Shamus O'Sean
Mountain Goat Beer - Hogs Head Imperial Stout with Smoked Cherries Aroma: Black Forest Cake. Rum notes. Cherries. Flavours: Malt, rum, smoky smoothness, alcohol warming, mouth numbing. I would buy a slab of this. But it would cost a bomb. Plus it would take me a year to get through. 2 1

Pale Man
I quite like this. Little Bang Brewery. Colorado Weed Money.....Oat Cream Pale Ale. If I were to brew a hazy beer this is it. Not to overpowering. 2
Pale Man
Big Shed Strata IPA. Lacks punch and mouthfeel for a 6.5% IPA. Maybe more traditional. It's nice but missing a dimension.

My son got it for me for Father's Day from Harvest Cellars in Belgrave South. They are about 10 minute walk from home. They always have a great variety of different beers.
Shamus O'Sean
Bright Brewery - Maple Heist Porter Sweet aroma with chocolate notes. Smooth to drink. The flavour starts out sweet but finishes with a lingering bitterness. It has a definite Maple Syrup flavour. 2
terminal2k
Bad Shepherd Mango Lassi. Smelt like absolute ass. Tasted ok-ish. Mango was lacking. Followed up with this unknown red labelled beer. I enjoyed that one a lot more 1 1
terminal2k
Just trying 4pines watermelon and pomegranate sour and their hazy pale. the sour will be a perfect summer drink. the hazy would probably have been better if it was carbonated (both beers came straight out of the tanks so hadn't been carbonated yet)
Pale Man
Pirate Life Imperial Stout. Nearly 11% not the day for it but hell why not. Quite tasty. Very roasty. 8

Shamus O'Sean
Coopers - 2021 Vintage Ale Smells like beer, with citrus floating in the background. Very first taste sensation is lots of tropical-ness that quickly changes to strong bitterness and great malty-ness. For my tastes, this is the nicest Vintage Ale for several years. 6

I thought the opposite Shamus, not their best vintage but that's just me. I've got this year's vintage ROTM interesting to see how it turns out.
Pale Man
Not a bad little drop. And sponsors of Port Adelaide FC. Went to their brewery the other day. Great spot. 6 1
Aussiekraut
Dropped into Ballistic on the way past and got a few roadies. This one is a HBC630 West Coast IPA. Not overly bitter, fruity but also malty. Not a bad brew. 6
