Classic Brewing Co
All good, only joking mate, most of my travels across Australia calling on Pubs/Clubs selling Stubby Holders, Bar Mats etc was really like a working holiday. Australia is a beautiful place & we should be proud & also our Gov have done a great job handling the pandemic. Cheers Phil
jamiek86
@CLASSIC all good knew it a joke lucky to be an essential worker i suppose. I'd be lying if i said i believed it was really a pandemic and as bad as their making it out to be but hey when there is enough that do we all know the rest.

Make sure you get the limited edition, it definitely taste different to the Southark Bitter you can get these days. In fact its everything i remember when my Dad gave me a swig of his beer. I quite like it, a lot probably wouldnt, might have something to do with memories.
Classic Brewing Co
Yeah I understand, I haven't had a Green Death for years so I know what you mean, I remember when the 2nd version came out, it was called Southwark Premium. They used to refer to it as 'table beer' - it wasn't half bad, a bit like a Crownie.

Classic Brewing Co
That was always the thing with Crownies, you were led to believe you were drinking a premium beer, but couldn't afford to waste it !!
Hilltop hops
Visited a new craft brewery today at St Agnes- Six Twelve Brewing. NEIPA was kegged today, super fresh and huge hop hit. Red Rye IPA was great.

After @Green Blob steered me in this direction I am backing the Rye thing these days... nice HH! Am thinking of purchasing a big fat bag of the stuff and making a few more Rye Babies ; ) Has the brewery got anything to do with St Agnes the aussie Brandy people?

Had a bit of spice, very tasty. Nothing to do with the brandy. A little warehouse tap room that opened a few months ago. You can see the set up behind the beer. Friendly brewer and nice beers, I'll be going back.
Hairy
It was yesterday’s tasting but there was a visit to Wicked Elf and Moorebeer in Port Macquarie. Great beers and great venues. About a 20 second walk between the two. Google maps said 46 seconds but I smashed it. 3

Popo the Reprobate
It's been a long while between Sparklings for me. I grabbed a six pack when faced with not much choice at a bottle shop. It's a nice change from what I'd usually drink and brew.
Hilltop hops
Long lunch at Little Bang Brewing. Mrs tried all the sours and cider. She liked the iced tea peach sour. I enjoyed the APA and NEIPA.
Classic Brewing Co
Looks Good Hiltop, I have tried a few from my local Thirsty Camel - not bad at all, I have been told it's a pretty big joint, I live at Camden Park, bit far to drive home, but we will see. Cheers.

Good old Coopers Sparkling, one of the original & the best, along with their Pale Ale.
