Glazertmonster
A mate brought a sixer of xxxx dry over last week. Trying to grab back some market share from Great Northern I think. Tastes like it anyway.
Naughty Corner Brewing
I went down to our local for a feed the other night and asked the guy behind the bar what it was like, he said it was their take on Great Northern or aimed at the same market. I said give me the James Squire then.
Hilltop hops
Had to try the new Coopers. Tasty beer, easy drinking with just enough hops and hopefully its around for summer.

Aussiekraut
Flanders Red. Not a bad beer and nice to drink but a tad too sour for my liking.
Aussiekraut
And another one...yes, I have been visiting uncle Dan's A nice refreshing tropical pale ale from Green Beacon. Tropical with a very light bitterness. Maybe the latter is not doing the beer too many favours. I don't like beers that still leave a bitter taste in your mouth after half hour but this is a little too low bitterness. A sessionable beer though, maybe because of it.

That’s one of my favourites of theirs, especially straight off the tap at the brew house.

Hilltop hops
Family lunch at Prancing Pony, great meals and excellent service. A few big beers, Double Zeppelin Hazy IPA and The Piper West Coast IPA were the stand outs. Having issues attaching photos.

RepSpec
Pink lemonade hard seltzer... Would be a cracker to knock back in summer. Stupidly easy to drink and been a seltzer, not sweet like a cider. 4
Aussiekraut
I've been visiting the good people at White Lies brewing yesterday. A nice rich Stout with a beautiful chocolate flavour.

Shamus O'Sean
Dainton Brewery - Cherrywood Smoked Rye Baltic Porter The first of my Father's Day haul. Aroma is smokey. Deep cherry colour when shining a light through it. Persistent head. Very strong flavour that reminds me of charcoal. No noticeable hop character. The can says 50 IBU's, but you would not know against the intense flavours. Very well balanced, but you know it is a strong beer. This was a Champion at the 2017 Australian Craft Beer Awards. I can understand why. Nice pick son.
Shamus O'Sean
Braeside Brewing Co - Brown Ale A collaboration between Rubia Coffee and Chocolate Works Aroma is definitely chocolate. Coffee not apparent. Definite coffee in the flavour. Not as smooth as some Brown Ales. Still a very nice brew. This reminds me a lot of the Belgian Chocolate Stout. Shamus O'Sean
Colonial Brewing Co - Inquest Imperial Stout Strong malty aroma with a hint of funk. Not as dark as most stouts, you can almost see through it. Alcohol warmth from the flavour. Rich. Surprisingly strong given the colour. A great sipping beer.
Pezzza
Forgot to post this from the Weekend... had some Moo Brew in Tassie a while ago... this more recent tasting of the below dark drop was very nice... Dan's Tasting notes say: This American Brown Ale uses resinous hop flavour in synergy with caramel, chocolate and a lightly roasted finish. The hop bitterness and aromatic character are balanced and pleasantly textured. Mmm... I can only remember that it was a dark n taschty creamy brew ha ha... there were a few before it and after it ; ) And that it reminded me a bit of my Altbier ha ha?! Ha ha... 'you don' know what yer got till it's gone' ha ha
