Todays tastings

Australia's fastest beer? I haven't actually tasted these yet. Only just picked them up this morning from Cellarbrations - Rezz Hotel but looking forward to trying tonight I would guess.

I wouldn't normally spend $55 on 16 cans but I'm proud to be supporting this lad's Supercars career, Todd Hazelwood. Todd grew up in Athelstone in Adelaide and is a good mate to my son. He's just a ripping lad from a great family and I hope he gets all the success he deserves.

Good one Malter, you better fridge them so you can fuel up your thirst 🚀

A few more yummies from SWMBO’s care package.

First off, a Mango Sour NEIPA. Nice brew, a little bit of a hazy taste but could be a little more sour and the Mango could be a little more prominent. But nice to drink.

Next is a Hazy IPA called the Undercover Fashion Police. What can I say, it’s Hazy and it’s pale. For once, it isn’t an abv monster but an easy drinker.

and last but not least, Scratchy Vinyl black IPA. This one is not bad at all. It has some characteristics of a Hazy and some nice hop flavours. Very unusual for a black IPA, with the roasted barley covered quite nicely.

As I kegged 2 new beers yesterday, I had to buy something to see me through until I can taste one of them, I decided to get 4 of these 660ml for $16.00 at Dan Murphy's.

As I have said before it is a damn good beer & is good value.

Cheers.

i drank a lot of this before getting into homebrew as it is dead cheap and goes down pretty well when its cold. endeavour's homebrand really (the booze and pokies company that spun off out of woolthworths) but far better than things like great northern or any of the other 30 can block beers. value.

Hope they don’t visit me 😂

They already have AK, you just don't know it yet.

Remember that you accidentally posted your home address a while back, they (the UFP) certainly do 🤣.  I can sense some hilarious pics coming up.  🤣

Round 3:

The Naked Objector. A West Coast IPA. Not much to say. It’s an IPA with everything it needs. Nice to drink but nothing spectacular.FA1CD1B7-525C-408A-8DE7-DB3E4991DAFC.thumb.jpeg.dfde6651d36affdcde272411d3eb492c.jpeg

Face Inverter. Now THAT is a sour. Holy crapperoony! I quite like it 😀

Sludgebeast. An Imperial Stout. Not only is this heavy as hell, it is also more astringent than many of the sours I’ve had. Your tongue sticks to the gums and the face puckers up. To be honest, not my cuppa tea. In fact, I didn’t like it at all and only finished it because I hate tipping beer out 😀

I like the old chook. Usually have one if they have it in a Pommy pub. 👍

Back in The Smoke. Next one is a Rocking Rudolph. Some Christmas stuff. Not bad, quite malty

Getting ready for the Bali trip the week after next 😀 Not the most crash hit beer but it will do to quench the thirst if I can’t find anything better. There are apparently a few places where one can get better beer.
