Worthog
Dated, like me, but we have had a lot of fun over the journey. I need to be tidier - Cleaned FV on the sink, empty bottles too. A kegerater will fit behind, eventually. Already a 'Hitachi' bar fridge under there which has been running non stop since 1985. Cheers

Classic Brewing Co
Good one Otto, very Classy, see the JD on the left !! I assume you can pour from the taps ?
Otto Von Blotto
Yeah, I moved the kegerator in behind it. Had to cut a section out of the lower bench to fit the tap tower in without having the fridge sticking way out. Just gotta get some kegs filled now. Moving stuffed up the production routine.

I usually keep one tap for soda water while the other two serve beer.
Classic Brewing Co
That's handy for mixes I guess or when you don't feel like a Beer ???
Otto Von Blotto
Yeah I usually use it for cordials. Saves buying soda water when I can put 19 litres in a keg essentially for free and carbonate it in a day or two. The Mrs and my olds when they're around enjoy it as well. Whenever I have a stout or porter on tap though the soda water goes off tap until that keg is empty, so in those periods I have all three taps on beer. Classic Brewing Co
Well that's a great set-up, I would like a Kegerator but need to further my skills before I attempt kegging etc. I have a pilot mate (Captain) he gas one but he earns a tad more than me !! Cheers.
Otto Von Blotto
Yeah I'm pretty happy with it. Always wanted to get a bar once I got the kegerator but until now haven't had anywhere to put one.
Classic Brewing Co
I noticed in earlier posts you your moving so I assume you have & that's the new Bar setup. It would put a few home bars to shame. Enjoy
Otto Von Blotto
Yeah we moved in a month ago. Loving it, way better than renting. Picked up the bar last week, was a bitch moving it into the house off the trailer as it's bloody heavy, but we did it. The top was separated which made it a bit easier, but then that was a pita to get up on there as well. Thankfully it won't be moving again except when we replace the carpet with floorboards. Classic Brewing Co
Well that's great. It will be interesting to see if any other dudes have Kegerator Set-ups, it has given me inspiration to work harder & get one. Cheers.

Beerlust
Almost 5 years ago I built mine from scratch & went through the build (stage by stage with pics) here on the forum. My AC/DC theme bar. Cheers, Lusty.
Otto Von Blotto
I wanted to build mine too but to do something like what I have would probably have cost 4 or 5 times as much as I paid for it second hand already done. A few years ago it wouldn't have been an issue but not so much now.

As Pauline Hanson would say 'please explain hehe Edited January 26, 2019 by Gully85
