Rowbrew
Here are a few pics of my setup in the back shed. In the 3rd pic, the plastic covered crates store my empty stubbies, and the containers store bottled homebrew at 30 stubbies per container. Gullys Brewing
Rowbrew is that 'piss' in the coke bottles? Guess it is a cheap way to warm up the fridge 1

Cheers Ryano, It is a 40l Birko urn with exposed element, and yes i do BIAB. I can highly recommend making the switch. Very rewarding
Ryano2
Awesome! Did you need to do anything to it or does it come with everything? How do you find the exposed element?
Rowbrew
The only thing i did was change the tap to a ball valve, and fit a brewing thermometer. The exposed element is great. Before i got this urn i was trying to find one with a concealed element, just because i thought it would be easier to clean, but no such luck. This one came up on gumtree for $150 or something so i snapped it up. Its really not that hard to clean. After brewday is done i simply rinse it out and lightly scrub with a brush. To get it sparkling clean all i do is boil 10 or so litres of water and drop a dishwasher tab in, boil it for an hour and it comes out mickey mouse!
willie_m
The current set up. Ink bird temp controller and old fridge. Complete with paint tin to keep it shut as the FV is just too big to fit.
porschemad911
Rowbrew, your setup is immaculate. I have faint memories of 'immaculate' before my little boy came along. Edit: Coopers says that emoticon is a 'tired face'

It is not a d$&k measuring contest but just a friendly place to share pictures and we may help each other to get ideas. I have 2 fridges. One is my temperature controlled fermentation fridge (which is empty due to my kegs being full) and the other is my keg fridge. My keg fridge has 2 x 19L and 1 x 9.5L. I have 2 taps and custom made red gum hardwood tap handles. I have a double regulator which I am about to add a manifold to so I can carb up all my kegs at the same time. I am considering a 3rd rap in the future too. I have almost finished my brewery and I don’t see myself having more than 3 taps!! I am about to design something on the fridge to show what beers I have on tap What do you have?? Definitely a d***k measurement ! WOW you got a BIG ONE ! Here’s my little fella ! ! 1
Norris!
Seeing everyone else's spurned me on, so I used chalkboard paint and just drilled a hole for the intertap FC tap. I have had the fridge for a while but finally decided to sanded it down as it was pretty rusty and paint it. I am about 95% complete, I still need to get 2 more taps and finish the flooring, but I am pretty stoked with the progress so far. The fridge was $50 on gumtree, the tap was $45 (I think it was over 1 1/2 ago when I got it) the chalkboard paint was about $20 (once again I think) so, so far about $115 to $130 with 2 more taps to go and a bigger CO2 bottle besides the soda streams and a manifold. So I am guessing about $250 more to go to finish it.
#granted+brew
BINGO! I've got a tin of chalkboard paint in the shed, belongs to SWMBO but I reckon its as good as mine Cheers, Lee
Norris!
It was easy as Lee! It goes on thick, I did use primer. My wife got some chalk paint which comes off easily and no dust for writing the beer names. It took me about an hour all up with sanding priming and final coat. Norris!
Thanks Cap. I have no idea why I didn't do this ages ago. It took about an hour all up to sand, prime and put the chalkboard paint on and then about 20 minutes drilling and setting up the tap. Now to get the other 2 taps and a drip tray. And you’ll have to start coming up with some names for your beers to write on your fridge like Central Galaxy to Norrisdom; or umm......... Norry’s No Undy Sundy for that Russian Imperial stout aged in Shiraz barrels. Or something equally as stupid, I’m mean creative. Captain
Norris!
I should of named it galaxiennal. That was the best I had. It was better than my first name...beer.
The Captain!!
I chucked a few things into a name generator and this was some of the funnier ones Norris and the Angry Throbbing Norris's Midnight Australias Lord of the Centennial Goat The Norris Sirron. I have no idea how it picks these names but it’s amusing. And how it picked up Norris Sirron who is a musical artist. Strange.
